On February 19 and 20, 2019, the Regional Workshop on Illicit Traffic\nand Counterfeit Products \u2013 the Operation Maya III was held. Officials from\nvarious security and customs agencies in Panama, Central America and the\nCaribbean participated in the training. MORAN IP had the opportunity to\nrepresent Crocs, Inc., UL LLC. and Richemont International S.A., where the\nmodus operandi, routes and trends of illicit trade in the industries of\nfootwear, electrical appliances and luxury good were discussed. As the result\nof the Interpol training, the Operation Maya III took place in Panama, Central\nAmerica and the Caribbean in April 2019, where millions of counterfeit products\nwere seized in the region. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
