Last November 21, 2019 our\nassociate Ms. Luz Hernandez acted as speaker during the \u201c2019 UNODC\/WCO\nContainer Control\u00a0 Program Regional Annual Meeting for Latin America and\nthe Caribbean\u201d on behalf of UL LLC., at Radisson hotel, Guatemala city,\nGuatemala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0More than\u00a078 Latin American officials from\nGuatemala, Colombia, Panama, Ecuador, Honduras, Costa Rica, Suriname, Peru,\nArgentina, El Salvador, Paraguay, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Jamaica, Belgium,\nBrazil, Bolivia and Guyana attended the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The venue was also attended\nby head officials from The United Nations on Drugs and Crime, and World Customs\nOrganization that have the responsibility to supervise the Container Control\nProgram in Latin America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ms. Luz Hernandez explained the treat of illicit trade of counterfeit goods and UL\u2019s advocacy to protect brands and consumers. The objective of the training was to raise awareness about the serious health and safety risks associated to counterfeit products. UL Be safe Buy Real!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
